Be a Library Advocate

Advocacy has been defined as “the process of turning passive support into educated action by stakeholders.” On a basic level, advocacy is simply voicing your support for libraries and encouraging others to do the same. Grassroots advocacy is the key to the continued success of our Wisconsin libraries.

Contact your local officials and state legislators and tell them how important libraries are to you! The following links will help you learn more about how to be an effective advocate for libraries.
