Hours: Current requirement is 25 hours per week. Must be available multiple days of the week including afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. Flexibility in scheduling is required.
Pay rate: $18.08 – $20.00 an hour depending upon experience

The Mukwonago Community Library seeks a high-energy, team-oriented candidate with exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for libraries to work with our dynamic and innovative Circulation & Customer Experience Team. Under the supervision of the Associate Director for Circulation & Customer Experience, the Marketing & Outreach Specialist will manage social media, assist with publishing and distributing promotional materials, update the website, help organize and photograph events and outreach, and assist with developing and implementing surveys. Candidate must be comfortable with graphic design, using technology to publish digital content, and making community connections. Candidate must be enthusiastic about working with the entire Customer Experience Team to tackle problems and dedicated to delivering high quality customer service including training on the Circulation Desk and new library card creation. Qualifications and Requirements:
• Required Qualifications:
o Associate’s Degree, vocational, or ongoing training specializing in library sciences, liberal arts, management, marketing, public relations, or related fields.
o Skilled in utilizing technology to conduct all aspects of the job including communication, record keeping, and customer service
o Ability to communicate in a friendly and cooperative manner to staff and library visitors
• Preferred Qualifications:
o Two (2) years’ experience in customer service with preference for library experience
o Experience working in libraries, education, or similar jobs
