In this role, the librarian will plan and deliver innovative and inclusive programming for all ages, with a focus on adults and seniors. They will provide exceptional library services, including reader’s advisory and technology help, while also supporting larger library goals.
We are seeking a candidate who thrives on community engagement and relationship building, enjoys working with people from all walks of life, and has strong organizational and leadership skills that allow them to turn big ideas into reality. The ideal candidate will bring a team-oriented attitude, adaptability, and a sense of humor. A demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and excellent customer service is essential.
Applicants for this full-time position should hold a Master’s Degree in Library Science (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited program, although candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. One or more years of experience in public library service, especially with adult or senior programming, is preferred.
