The Pleasant Hill Public Library is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time Youth Services Librarian.
The Youth Services Librarian coordinates and implements programs, outreach, and services for children, teens, and their caregivers; manages collection development for children's and teen materials; and provides quality reference, readers' advisory, and other library services to all patrons. This position collaborates with and provides day-to-day supervision of the Youth Outreach Specialist. The Youth Services Librarian reports to the Library Director.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in early childhood development, education, or a related field required. Master of Library and Information Sciences degree preferred.
Salary for this position begins at $69,605.81.
