West Bend Community Memorial Library is seeking an experienced, visionary leader to serve as Deputy Director. This role supports the Director in overseeing all library operations, services, personnel, strategic planning, and community engagement. You’ll supervise six team members, help manage budgets, lead special projects, and represent the library at community and professional events.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily operations & regional administration
- Lead strategic planning & policy development
- Manage budgets, reports, and grants
- Represent WBCML in the community
- Supervise staff
Requirements:
- Master’s in Library Science (ALA-accredited)
- 2+ years of public library management
- Strong leadership, planning & communication skills
Qualified candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. The starting rate of pay is $73,736 - 79,000 (DOQ) annually, with excellent benefits.
