The Frank L. Weyenberg Library (FLWL) of Mequon-Thiensville, Wisconsin is seeking a motivated and courteous individual to join our Access Services team. As a member of this team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service at the circulation desk, handling returned materials, checking out and renewing items, answering phones, and providing curbside services. The position requires flexibility, strong customer service and computer skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or significant customer service experience, and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role requires a high level of physical activity, including the ability to stand for an extended period of time, bend, lift or carry up to 50 pounds, and push and pull book trucks weighing up to 200 pounds.
This position is part-time, 20 hours per week, with a starting wage of $13.00-$15.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience. The library offers prorated holidays, sick and vacation time. Evening and weekend work is required.
