REFERENCE AND ADULT SERVICES SECTION | RASS

PURPOSE

RASS is dedicated to developing a philosophy of reference and adult services, with particular attention to the objectives of such services, to advancing the informational, research, educational, recreational, and cultural services to adults in all types of libraries and at all levels within the state, and to stimulating or initiating projects and studies designed to add to the existing store of information and understanding of service to adults.

GOALS

• Advocate for programs focusing on issues in reference and adult services.
• Provide a platform for members to network with others who are facing the same issues.
• Cultivate leaders.
