NOW ACCEPTING POSTER/LIGHTNING TALK PROPOSALS

The WAAL 2021 Conference Planning Committee is accepting proposals for posters and Lightning Talks to be presented at Risk and Reward: WAAL 2021. The conference will take place online on April 29 & 30, 2021. 

DEADLINE EXTENDED: Proposals are due by Friday, February 19, 2021.

Poster Sessions:

Poster session proposals are welcome from any person or organization who has ideas to present to Wisconsin's academic library community.

Awards will be given for Best Content and Best Visual Display in both the Professional and Student categories. Students presenting with a professional will be considered as part of the professional category.

Lightning Talks:

Don’t think you have enough information for a poster or a presentation? The Planning Committee would like to give everyone the opportunity to present topics, no matter how small!

Each presenter will have 5 minutes to speak on their topic. Your PowerPoint slides will be gathered ahead of time and presented as one continuous presentation. There will be an Emcee coordinating the talk and delegating time.

In the interest of time, we ask that there only be one presenter; however, other presenters can be available during the Q&A portion.
