Ileana Serrano, Data Dissemination Specialist, US Census Bureau

Learn how to search for and download data, use the map feature, and customize table views on data.census.gov Serrano will take participants on a walk-through of the data tool, share helpful learning resources, and address the most commonly asked questions.

Ileana Serrano serves as the Data Dissemination Specialist for the U.S. Census Bureau. She is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin through the dissemination of Census data and information. Ms. Serrano’s primary responsibilities are to plan, coordinate, and implement data dissemination, outreach, engagement and training. She conducts data access workshops, webinars and presentations to a variety of organizations, local governments, business, media, universities, etc.
