Youth Services Librarian
Brewer Public Library (Richland Center, WI) seeks an outgoing individual for the position of Youth Services Librarian. This position is full-time, 40 hours a week, including evening and weekend hours. Duties of the position include conducting a wide variety of programs for children ages preschool through teen, planning and implementing summer reading program, community outreach, collection development, and assisting patrons at the children’s circulation desk. The ideal candidate is energetic, forward thinking, patron-focused, has strong attention to detail, and is able to work independently. Candidates must be comfortable using computers, assisting patrons of all ages, have full range of body motion, and the ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds and push a full library cart.
Library work, computer knowledge, a college degree, and previous experience working with children are preferred.
