This position demands a dynamic, organized, and creative individual to provide extraordinary service to our customers and fellow library staff. The Youth Collection Development Librarian is responsible for purchasing all of the youth library materials for the Marathon County Public Library and oversees ongoing collection maintenance in collaboration with library staff. A passion for building relevant and balanced collections in multiple formats for youth from their infancy through young adulthood is required. The chosen candidate will also excel while working at any service desk and in handling projects behind the scenes.
The work is performed under the direction of the Library Services Manager.
