Description:

Under supervision of the Library Director, the Reference Associate oversees activity at the Library Service Desk, supporting a wide range of reference and customer services and performs other library duties as required.
Minimum Education and Experience:
1.MLIS preferred, but will consider an applicant with a
Bachelor’s Degree with related library work experience and/or a combination of MLIS completed coursework
2.Strong technology skills required
3.Strong customer service orientation
4.Strong readers’ advisory skills desirable
5.Some previous library experience preferred
Hours and Compensation:
Approximately 20-24 hours a week with a possible evening shift. Ideal schedule would be Monday through Friday 1-5pm or possibly Monday through Friday 7:30-11:30am and/or a combination of these shifts.
