LIBRARY ASSISTANT I
ADAMS COUNTY LIBRARY
Adams County is recruiting for a part-time Library Assistant. This is a front-line position at Adams County Library. The individuals in these positions provide assistance to patrons at the circulation desk, over the telephone, and through digital messaging, both while on duty at the circulation desk and during off-desk time. The Library Assistant generally works one evening each week, and one Saturday each month.
Qualifications necessary: High school graduation or 4 years library or clerical experience. Preferred: 4-year college degree, or certificate from a 2-year program. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and other programs used on public computers. Ability to sort efficiently in alphabetical and/or numerical order. Starting Salary: $15.62 per hour
