A full time university staff position is available in McIntyre Library beginning August 1, 2023. The working title for this assignment is Evening Library Supervisor with an official title of Library Assistant III. This is an expected-to-continue assignment which requires a six-month probationary period. Expected salary: $40,000.
The Evening Library Supervisor ensures high quality library service for the University community at the McIntyre Library main desk and contributes to high impact student work experiences. Working as part of the User Services team, the primary duties also include general supervision of the building in the evenings, assisting resource sharing and interlibrary loan, responding to and referring research questions, and maintaining the library reserve collection. The person in the position also provides support to library users in the Blugold Makerspace and the Digital Studio. This position strives to meet equity, diversity, inclusion (EDI) goals of the university.
