The Public Services Supervisor, under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Public Services, is responsible for a variety of public services related and supervisory duties. This position directly supervises all Public Services Library Assistants and serves as first point-of-contact and emergency coordinator for the library in the absence of Library Management. This position is responsible for delivering frontline patron services, department operations support, programmatic support, and many other duties. It oversees the most visible staff and direct customer service link to the patrons served, and performs most of the day to day customer contact, operational tasks, and workflow direction.
